Default Fast Lightbringer Farm? Where?

I tried to do Sulforous Wastes and Domain of Secrets both places are slow, and DoS is a challenge sometimes. I am trying to gain a few Lightbringer ranks on my Necro. Where would be a fast spot, hardmode or not, to farm LB points?

the place i farm for LB points is domain of secrets... i just 55 SS / SV my way through 25 titans (max bonus points from exuro) and then plow through him too. really fast and easy, and great drops. what problems are you having there?

Remains of Sahlaja or something. Groups will usually be spamming SS/LB farm HM. They have guys holding the quest, a show of force, and just follow them. Its not that long of a run, you do it in wurms, and you have chances at elemental sword drops. its like 600 lb points a run

What's the preferred run? Straight to the margonite battle bounty in the Northwest, then head south to the temple? Or also detour for elemental bounty, etc.?

By the way, the Requiem for a Brain quest gives you 10 extra Margonites (60 extra points) on the way back out of the temple if you pick up and drop the Tome of Ancient Knowledge. At least, I think that step is helpful ...

the 25,000 points that baz777 got was in about 5 hours of farming. can't get much faster than that kanaxais_scythe.

What about for the people who have completed these quests?

I've stopped completing any more quests because of this. It sucks.

Yeh, zoomed up from LB3 to LB7 on my ranger in a few short weeks doing 3-5 runs/day in the Stygian Vale. Hard mode, of course. Each run is only about 10-15 minutes'ish. Once you get down the confidence, you can do more then the first wave solo. (Well, I bring Margrid along to lay spirits for me. )

So, yeah. DoA for LB points. Win everytime.

Find someone else who hasnt done the quests and you can still farm that area. I did all the quests also and that is how I farm that area. You need to go in with at least 4 other players anyways.

Why? I usually do this with my 2 accounts and 6 heroes. Is it for the drops?

Minimum number to do it in any decent amount of time is 5 people, whether that be hero/henchman. Yes you get more drops this way because the rare drops are split among the 5 people instead of 8 though the crap drops are still the same. I like to do it with 8 people myself for speed, dont really care about drops but some do.

Best thing do while doing is this is using your Tunnel in the spots without foes.

But if you want to kill off some extra margonites, take the Ancient Tome and drop it at the res shrine. Another 3 groups will pop up and give you some extra LB points.

I finish Sulfurous Waste runs in about 9 minutes with heroes and henchmen, I take out the first three undead groups, skip the most northern margonite groups, clear out the bottom Undead group with Alem, and use Requiem for a Brain to spawn enough margonites to hit 25 before I activate the shrine and just siege the bosses. The wiki says the average for this run in 12 minutes but I'm not sure if that's right or not, yields about 480 Sunspear and exactly 600 Lightbringer every run.
